The 2021 Leadership Academy was conducted virtually on February 9th and 10th after the completion of the regular school day. A special dinner for participating principals was conducted on the evening of February 11 for participating school leaders. Attendees included teachers, administrators and district officials from the participating districts across California.
Participants were able to hear from California State Board of Education Member, Patricia Rucker. Vernon Billy, California School Boards Association Executive Director; Mary Nicely, Senior Policy Advisor for the State Superintendent of Public Instruction; Anne T. Henderson a national thought leader in the area of parent engagement. In addition, California State Senator Connie Leyva, LAUSD Board member Jackie Goldberg and RUSD Superintendent Elect Renee Hill addressed the participants attending the dinner on February 11.
